Abstract
Background: An emerging strategy for treating Alzheimer's disease is tau lowering therapeutics. These aim to reduce the levels of pathological tau species to prevent cognitive decline through approaches with RNA therapeutics, immunotherapy, small molecule inhibitors, or AAV‐based gene therapy.
