From the registry
The goal of this randomized clinical trial is to learn whether adding elastic resistance training (ERT) to routine physical exercise can improve walking speed in older adults aged 60 years or older with sarcopenia living at Griya Wreda Jambangan, Surabaya. Sarcopenia is identified according to the Asian Working Group for Sarcopenia (AWGS) 2019 criteria. The main questions it aims to answer are: * Does adding elastic resistance training to routine physical exercise improve walking speed after 8 weeks? * Is the change in walking speed greater in participants who receive elastic resistance training plus routine physical exercise than in those who receive routine physical exercise alone? Researchers will compare routine physical exercise plus elastic resistance training with routine physical exercise alone to determine whether the addition of elastic resistance training results in greater improvement in walking speed. The study uses a randomized pre- and post-intervention controlled design. Participants will: * Be randomly assigned to either the intervention group or the control…
