Abstract
Background Insulin resistance, indicated by the triglyceride-glucose (TyG) index, is an emerging risk factor for cognitive decline. However, its interplay with genetic susceptibility in determining dementia risk remains unexplored, particularly during the early stages of Cardiovascular-Kidney-Metabolic (CKM) syndrome.
