Abstract
BackgroundDNA methylation (DNAm) based age acceleration is an indicator of biological ageing. However, it is unclear how age acceleration is linked to mental health in adolescents. We examined the longitudinal associations between DNAm age acceleration and depression and anxiety in adolescents.
