Background: Smoking is a well‐established risk factor for cardiovascular disease, and its association with neurodegeneration and cognitive decline is an area of ongoing research. Critically, the interplay between smoking, Alzheimer's disease (AD) pathology, and cognitive impairment remains incompletely understood.
