Abstract

Background: Mounting evidence shows relationships between the cerebrovasculature, cognitive decline, neurodegeneration, and amyloid accumulation that underscores the contribution of cerebrovascular atherosclerotic disease (CA) to the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease and related dementias (AD/ADRD).
